The Secret Happiness Weapon

Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon.

A happiness weapon.

A beauty bomb.

And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one.

It would explode high in the air – explode softly – and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air.

Floating down to earth – boxes of Crayolas.  And we wouldn’t go cheap, either – not little boxes of eight.  Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in.  With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest.

And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.

  8. Zeenat:

So cool…I really enjoyed the picture and quote. It reminds me that the creative moments we experienced as kids can be extended to adulthood (or our second childhood :)

  9. Wonderful! It made me think of the times I have traveled to places where people might not feel too friendly towards me. I carry a bottle of bubble soap and start blowing bubbles. The kids, at first shy, pretty quickly approach and before long everyone is laughing and jumping around after the bubbles. I show the kids how to blow them and then turn them loose with little individual bottles of bubble soap. A great way to bridge culture and language barriers.

    Bubble bombs??

    • Galen, I love love love love it! Bubble bombs is so easy and awesome!
I have to try them with my little girl…I’m sure we can have a bubble bomb party for her birthday ;)

  11. What a fun and life filled idea!! I love it – it is like the delight of fireworks and the wonder of a rainbow rolled into one – something to brighten anyone’s day and lighten/open their hearts. That is a weapon I oculd love.

    • Hi M,
We both could love this weapon..and shouldn’t all actually weapons be magically transformed into crayon boxes…oh what a wonderful world that would surely be :)
      Glad you loved it!
