The One and Only Sure Way Towards Self Improvement

The One and Only Sure Way Towards Self Improvement“Do not consider any vice trivial, and so practice it; do not consider any virtue trivial and so neglect it.”- Chinese Proverb-

Shortly before George Bernard Shaw died, someone approached and asked, “You have known all the great men of your time, who have shaped the destiny of the world. Now, if you could be born again and re-live your life, as any one of your choice, who would it be?” Without a moments hesitation he said “If I could re-live my life in the role of any person I desired, I would want to be the man George Bernard Shaw could have been, but wasn’t”.

One Positively Empowering Question ~ Raoka

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who are alive.” ~Howard Thurman

How do you empower yourself?

Some things you do or say empower yourself. And some things dis-empower you. Most often its the positive thoughts that create empowering beliefs and the negative thoughts that dis-empower big time. When you find yourself in a challenging situation, it’s helpful to have a powerful plan of action. Rather than a script or a rule that limits you, I suggest you ask yourself a question that guides you. Continue reading
