How to Build an Unshakeable Mind in a Chaotic World

Your mind is the laboratory of your soul.

As I look at the world around us, I am deeply disturbed by how humanity can reach this level…wars, genocide, women and children being exploited….its not a perfect world. All of these things are hard to ignore and can have a very deep impact on the way your mind works. I know when this war started all I did was cry for two days. It took me that long to get back to centre, to get back to a state of mental strength, to face this world and not succumb to it.

So, how do we build a strong and unshakeable mind in this chaotic and highly triggering world? Read on…

Let me clarify, a strong mind isn’t one that feels no pain, it is one that has the discipline to sit with its own shadows without flinching.

Resilience is birthed in the silence of conscious effort and the courage of emotional honesty. It’s the realization that your internal landscape dictates the quality of your external life.

Which only proves, that contentment is as essential to our happiness as air is to our being alive. As you read further you will understand why…

You may be sleeping…but are you actually resting?

“I’m so exhausted and nothing is helping” is an actual concern in today’s society. Exhaustion is a real thing. Unfortunately, sleep alone doesn’t fix the issue. In fact, only focusing on sleep may increase burnout because other key areas of rest have not been attended to.

In my line of work I speak to and counsel so many souls who are somewhat new to the healing, wellness and personal development space — and one of the things that usually comes up in our conversations is “rest.” Or the lack of it, which is causing an imbalance in their healing journey.

Physical rest is something you are surely familiar with and you may have also heard of mental rest. But do you know that there are many types of rest (other than sleeping) that you should be prioritizing for your well-being and mental health?

If you’ve been feeling unwell, tired, fatigued, cranky, irritated but can’t figure out why, you’re going to want to read this article!
