In the movie, Hector and the Search for Happiness, Hector – a bored London psychiatrist – travels the world looking for the meaning of happiness.  Along the way, he scribbles and sketches the key points he discovers in his nifty travel diary.

While flying to Africa, he lovingly assists a fellow passenger whose brain is about to explode due to the impact of the high altitude pressure on her medical condition.  Hector directs the pilot to fly at a lower elevation, relieves her pain by applying a cold compress to her head, and listens to her story.

I would Love to Help YOU Heal

“So much of the world is broken and I want to be part of its healing.” 

Sometimes things are a lot harder than we can handle, and sometimes we don’t know what to do to help ourself. We all have pain and sorrow. Its better to share your load and reduce the pain.

3 Simple Steps to Overcoming Your Unnecessary Wants

Just Last Night, my little daughter kept pulling me to the fridge to ask me for Ice cream. Now there is nothing wrong with ice cream is there??But at 11p.m. (well past bedtime) on a heavily rainy and cold day it’s potentially disastrous. Now we grown ups know that don’t we? But for a child its still the best thing in the world and not getting what she wanted makes her cranky and irritable. I try hard to distract her attention from it but all in vain. I actually had to drag her to bed…and even then she kept at it…she couldn’t stop crying and saying ice cream ice-cream…finally after much ado she did fall asleep.
