A New Year means a new dawn. A new beginning. Are you coming into this glorious new year with old unnecessary baggage(stress)??? 

Believe it or not, we are almost always surrounded by stress. Be it work stress, relationship stress, self image stress, social stress….the list can be endless. Stress is unavoidable…it will be thrown at us at every nook and corner…BUT although we don’t have a choice at what is thrown at us…we have a choice as to how we allow it to effect us.

New year stress can be a very real thing. Its human tendency to reflect on the year gone by and think of all the things we achieved or didn’t achieve. I personally choose to focus on what I did achieve…that leads me to feel happy for the year that has gone by and makes me feel hopeful for the new year. Happy October my lovelies! 🙂 Another glorious month fit for another positive challenge.

Let me ask you this: Do you have problems? Problems with work, with finances, with health, with relationships, with yourself…

We all have to admit, that we all have problems and issues in our lives we are all trying to work through. Sometimes those problems eat away at our soul and render us lifeless in the process IF we let them. But if you are living from your heart, you ‘Know’ at some point that ‘enough is enough’. There is just so much control you can allow your problem to have over you…at some point you need to put an end to it and take charge of your own happiness!

Lets put an end to and clear many of those pesky problems this month by taking up this Positive Challenge!

Life has a way of throwing many curve balls in your path. My life has been no exception to those very unpleasant curve balls. From a broken heart, to a broken soul, to coming down a negative spiral….I’ve been everywhere. In those very very negative times, the few things that helped me heal were my faith in the Divine and my own self talk.

Although spirituality came to me at a very early age, its not until pretty late that I realized it wasn’t anyone or anything that’s hurting me…it was me all along! HOW? My own thinking was eating me alive. When I read and learnt about positive thinking and positive affirmations…I was already too muddled to realize the full benefits of this simple healing magic. It was while IN one of these trying times that I revisited my own thoughts and began putting my knowledge to good practical use.
