We are each products of our life experiences. We grow and evolve with every experience we have. Be it a happy experience or a traumatic one.

Traumatic experiences have the tendency to leave unhealed wounds on our psyche. They are those nasty cracks through which anxiety, stress, depression etc. can easily manifest themselves. Hence healing these deep seated emotional traumas is necessary for your overall well-being.

Beating anxiety is an uphill climb. Anxiety can feel like its taking over your life and not allowing you to really live freely. It makes doubt and fear your constant companion. As I discussed in a previous article on the 5 Step Plan to Positively Reduce Anxiety, there is hope. It can be handled.

Another beautiful and highly effective way to beat anxiety, especially when it comes to calming those nerves, is repeating positive affirmations. Life is full of beautiful moments, dreams fulfilled, family fun and also full of work, responsibilities, financial commitments. Most of this we handle well on a daily basis. But there are times when handling it all can become overwhelming and emotionally hard. Its when this feeling of overwhelm persists for longer periods of time, you know that anxiety has set in and you need to do something to reduce it.

7 Positive Daily Habits to Live Stress Free

Believe it or not, we are almost always surrounded by stress. Be it work stress, relationship stress, self image stress, social stress, world events stress….the list can be endless. Stress is unavoidable…it will be thrown at us at every nook and corner…BUT although we don’t have a choice at what is thrown at us…we have a choice as to how we allow it to effect us.

As human tendency we tend to reflect on the past and think of all the things we achieved or didn’t achieve. I personally choose to focus on what I did achieve…that leads me to feel happy for the time that has gone by and makes me feel hopeful for the future.

Over the years I’ve come to understand and manage stress positively and keep it as far away from me as possible. The one thing I do know, is that I have to work on keeping stress away from me on a daily basis. A conscious effort to live stress free is imperative.
