Most people will spend their entire life being told that their dreams are something that they can’t do. I was told many such things -> “You can’t play football with the boys!”(I was the only girl in an all boys team for so long), or “How can you become a psychologist?” etc. We all face this at some point in our lives. No one is immune to the negativity of the world. But you can still believe in yourself and change your life.

Do You find it hard to hear everyone around you tell you “You can’t”?
Can’t is such an ugly, often demotivating word. The more times you hear it, the easier it is to believe the lies that are being told. You have to search for a healing way to respond to it. Don’t believe any negative thoughts that people say about what you can’t do, because only you truly KNOW what you can or cannot do! And understand, that people who are negative towards you are often hiding a certain level of their own insecurity behind that “all put together” mask.

Sometimes, change comes easily and naturally. Some things are just easy to change. Then, there are deeply ingrained habits that are much more difficult to change. You try to change those habits, and you succeed for a while, then you stop and end up feeling like a failure. When this cycle of trying and failing happens a few times, you finally decide to give up and decide this good change is not for you. Story over. Not really, cause something inside you will keep making you want to make the change that your heart so desires. But the fear of failure will not allow you to try. Its a vicious cycle full of negativity and self doubt.
