How often do you hear yourself say -> “I’ll do it later.” And well, later never really comes.

I used to be a procrastinator, till the stress of the things piling up was hurting me more than actually doing the task. Since then, I try not to put things off for “later”(at least 95% of the time). That’s progress ❤

Procrastination is

…the act of delaying or postponing tasks, often unnecessarily or irrationally, even when you know there might be negative consequences. It’s basically putting things off—like avoiding that project, homework, chore, or decision—despite knowing it needs to get done.

It’s not just laziness. Procrastination often involves emotional regulation. People might procrastinate because the task feels overwhelming, boring, or stressful. So instead of doing the thing, they choose to do something more pleasant or easier in the short term (like scrolling on your phone, cleaning your room, or binge-watching something).

Common reasons people procrastinate:

  • Fear of failure or perfectionism
  • Lack of motivation or interest
  • Poor time management
  • Feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start

5 Positive Questions You Should Always Answer YES to

There are some questions that never need to hear the answer NO.

Just imagine the possibility of what your life would be like if you always said YES more often. If you accepted every invitation, dared to enjoy every adventure and chose to be friends with strangers. Of course, this could put you in some risky positions but it could also make your life a whole lot more interesting. There are surely questions that should be answered with a resounding NO. When it comes to your emotional boundaries and healing you need to say No a lot more…but then when it comes to making life more interesting many more questions can be answered with a definitive yes.

“Yes” has magic within it. So often we are afraid of life — we fear failure, we anticipate the worst, we don’t know what to expect. So, we say NO. But often by saying “no”, we reject many of life’s brilliant chances.

Life is a journey that is actually full of emotions and feelings. Everything that happens in our life we have attached an emotion to it. In fact, if you think of any event from the past(even yesterday) the emotion attached to that event is what you feel first when you think about it.

Its amazing how everything we are, is a sum total of the feelings and emotions we have been through. But, sometimes the emotions feel too BIG to handle in certain situations. And that is very normal. We all can feel overwhelmed when we feel these big emotions coming on. They are often triggered by life-changing decisions or events.
