Today marks the 70th Death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It’s the day a simple man, with a simple mission passed into the spirit world. His mission was of Non-violence, of peace, of Unity in diversity. His utter simplicity brought about a revolution of magnanimous proportions. A country was freed, people were heard, caste systems were banished and most of all love and peace prevailed. On this day…and everyday, I applaud this mission. I applaud his spirit, his courage, his unwavering and self-less motives.
I believe, rather firmly believe in Non-violence in thoughts and actions. In no circumstance or situation or state is violence physical or mental acceptable. I condemn war and fighting. There is so much of it going on around us already, that we are just adding to the Universe’s Mental Pollution, by thinking violently too. Be it just muttering harsh words under our breath or holding grudges or holding hate in our hearts. We are sending out the wrong energy into this Universe.
