When it comes to being a girl, I was fortunate enough to be treated like a precious creature. From the time I can remember, my dad always told me, I was more a boy to him than my two other brothers. At the time I never really understood this statement. But, when he said the same thing to me on my 18th birthday, he added “You are more capable than any man you will ever meet.
