Why You Deserve To Be Loved

Why You Deserve To Be Loved

The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring. ~ Oscar Wilde

Let me begin by asking you a simple question:

Are You Loved? Truly and completely loved for who you truly are…by yourself and by those around you…

Many of my patients and people I meet feel like they Dont deserve to be loved, even if they are being loved. They believe they have so many flaws, that how could anyone possibly love them.

Everyone deserves love! Love is a divine gift we each possess the spark of. In-fact, we ARE Love.

Everyone on Earth wants to experience and be loved, but with so many struggling relationships and the enormous divorce rate, something is obviously missing. Why are we still not getting it?

How Forgiveness Is Imperative To Deep Emotional Healing + 4 Healing Forgiveness Affirmations

“If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive.” ~ Mother Teresa

Forgiveness means that we choose to Love. Love MORE than we choose to hate or hurt.

Among all the ways of counseling I offer, I also offer family therapy to families to heal from issues that are eating away at their core happiness. In one such recent session, there was SO much negativity coming out of every member of the family, which was making the whole atmosphere very very tense. The key was ofcourse a past event that had triggered and hurt many of the members of the family. After gently proposing “forgiveness with love” of self and all those involved…and applying it, I could see the whole family calm down. But, forgiveness is a hard pill to swallow.

I often get asked, “But how can I forgive, when it hurts so much?”

5 Simply Positive steps to becoming a whiz at Prioritization

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.” ~ Stephen Covey

Priorities, priorities, priorities!!! Are your priorities muddled up and making you dizzy? Lets positively simplify that…today! 🙂
Prioritization is a positive skill that often takes practice before you can truly master it (I’m still working on it). When you’ve got a long list of things that need to be done, figuring out which ones take precedence can be difficult to say the least!

As life has presented itself to me with all its ultimate glory, I’ve realized and devised a 5 step system that works positively for me. I’m sure it will work wonders for you too… Continue reading “5 Simply Positive steps to becoming a whiz at Prioritization”

For those who know me, know that I’m a quotes junkie. A very very avid one at that too. But although I love quotes, cause they are SO full of wisdom and life lessons, my favorite kind of quotes are Love Quotes.

Why?

Other than the fact that I’m such a mushy mushy girl at heart, the other reason is that LOVE in itself encompasses all emotions and all facets of our existence in itself. Love is all that matters, be it romantic love, self love, world love or Divine love. Love is all there is in every cell of me and you. 8 Positive Life Lessons from Gandhi ~ A Tribute to His indomitable spirit

“You must be the Change you want to see in the world.” ~ Gandhi

Today marks the 70th Death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It’s the day a simple man, with a simple mission passed into the spirit world. His mission was of Non-violence, of peace, of Unity in diversity. His utter simplicity brought about a revolution of magnanimous proportions. A country was freed, people were heard, caste systems were banished and most of all love and peace prevailed. On this day…and everyday, I applaud this mission. I applaud his spirit, his courage, his unwavering and self-less motives.

I believe, rather firmly believe in Non-violence in thoughts and actions. In no circumstance or situation or state is violence physical or mental acceptable. I condemn war and fighting. There is so much of it going on around us already, that we are just adding to the Universe’s Mental Pollution, by thinking violently too. Be it just muttering harsh words under our breath or holding grudges or holding hate in our hearts. We are sending out the wrong energy into this Universe.
