Can You See the WONDER~RAOKA

If you see the wonder of a fairy tale You can take the future even if you fail I believe in angels Something good in everything I see” ~ Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus for Abba

Can you see the wonder in the flight and grace of a butterfly?
Can you see the wonder in the wind softly blowing your fears away?

Can you see the wonder in sunshine and how it reaches every little corner?

Can you see the wonder in the changing colors of the night sky and how it affects you?

Can you see the wonder of the Divine in every green leaf and every sand particle?

Can you see the wonder in the beautiful life you are living?

Can you see the wonder of your health, your beauty, your happiness?

Can you see the wonder of each and every little particle and molecule that inhabits time and space to create everything?

Can you see the WONDER of YOU?

Yes, You are Wondrous beyond measure.

You are the angel, that inhabits this time and space, and have powerful wonderous gifts. Gifts you can use to heal yourself, heal your family, heal the world.

What Wondrous Gift?- You have the gift of LOVE.

  1. Ah Zeenat…you are truly wonderful! Just being here on your site is a joy and makes me feel all warm and hugged and happy on this freezing cold, snow white morning in IrelaInd. I have a ‘wonderous’ moment to share with you. It happened at 5am when I came downstairs to let the dogs out for a quicky. The house was warm and cozy despite the weather as I had left the heat on low in case the pipes would freeze. One of the cats who had been sleeping on my chair at the kitchen table, the one with the cushion, got up and stretched himself into a huge yawn of bliss. Upstairs the kids were asleep and safe. I opened the door and the dogs charged back in shaking the snow off their fur. And that was when I felt the gurgle of happiness and wonder spread from deep inside, right through my being. Life is wonderful!

In fact, we had another beautiful sprinkling of big flakes of snow today and I just stood and watched it fall from the sky and blanket gently all that it fell on, and I stood in awe and I saw the wonder…

  4. Zeenat,

I like the wonderful “wonder” post! I think there are so many wonders to gush over, if we just stopped and look for it. As an adult, I have gotten so busy with things to do and being productive, I wish to be child again and see through my kids eyes and everything is wonderful.

    1. Hi Preeti,
Me tooo!!! I see my little girl everyday in her wondrous moods and think how amazing it is to be a child. But we can be as wondrous as a child too…. 🙂 Who says wonder should be curtailed to children 🙂
      Lots of love~

    1. HI Nea,
Its that age na…but believe me, coming form another mother..I see wonder in my little girls everything 🙂 Every habit, every new expression….

  5. Dearest Zeenat, I see the wonder in the community of bloggers and readers who responded to my question about having (or not having) children…..and it has blown me away…..of course I see (and work hard to always see) the wonder in every other beautiful thing you mentioned here too!!

    1. Hi Farniish,
Me too!! I am constantly in wonder and awe of the lovely bloggers and readers who I interact with. How beautiful for you to see that loving wonder in action on your blog too.
      Wonder rocks!

  6. Hi Zeenat:

Thank you for the thought-provoking questions about wonder. Yes, I can feel the sense of wonder in my life…usually in quiet simple moments. It could be during a conversation with someone I admire or while listening to music or watching the sky. It’s available to all of us as long as we have an almost child-like curiosity about life – sometimes referred to as “beginner’s mind.” Zeenat,,,your post is a beautiful, almost poetic take on wonder. Great job!

    1. Hi TIm,
Poetic hmm…you make me blush 🙂
But wonder has that effect on me 🙂
I agree with you whole heartedly….wonder can be in the smallest of things…and “beginners mind” is exactly like that.
Thank you fro your beautiful comment here.
      Much Love~

  7. Hi Zeenat,

    1. Hi Dia,
It would be wonderful if you would like to join in raoka 🙂

      Much Love~

  8. Ohhh, dearest Z, this is so beautiful. And it is SO YOU. I just love your indomitable spirit. I relate to it so much. I also love how you continually focus on love and the positive no matter what is going on in the world, and how you refuse to let anyone drag you down. Thank you thank you thank you for that. In being this way you confirm so much for me.

And yes, the wonder of the world. I think one day in the rainforest I just decided to BECOME that wonder itself. I have never ever regretted this choice. Just to be alive is a wonder. It’s like my post about Nature. All of existence is Nature and all of it is a wonder. And we can find it anywhere. Even in the tiny eyelash lying on our child’s soft face.

I love you so much. And cannot thank you enough for your friendship and enduring, endearing love.

    Love,
    Robin

  9. Love this and yes I can see the wonder each day in the clouds in the sky, the patterns in the sand, the changing hues of the sky at dawn. The myriad of colours in the garden. So many shades of green. I see the wonder in Des’s love for me, wonder in how you and I connect.
I love what you do here with Raoka and in 2011 I will add it to my be part of wish list
    with love and gratitude
    Suzie xx
