The Secret Happiness Weapon

Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon.

A happiness weapon.

A beauty bomb.

And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one.

It would explode high in the air – explode softly – and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air.

Floating down to earth – boxes of Crayolas.Β  And we wouldn’t go cheap, either – not little boxes of eight.Β  Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in.Β  With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest.

And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.

  5. Zeenat:

So cool…I really enjoyed the picture and quote. It reminds me that the creative moments we experienced as kids can be extended to adulthood (or our second childhood πŸ™‚

  6. Wonderful! It made me think of the times I have traveled to places where people might not feel too friendly towards me. I carry a bottle of bubble soap and start blowing bubbles. The kids, at first shy, pretty quickly approach and before long everyone is laughing and jumping around after the bubbles. I show the kids how to blow them and then turn them loose with little individual bottles of bubble soap. A great way to bridge culture and language barriers.

    Bubble bombs??
