The Glorious Ripple Effect of Positive Thinking

Here is one line we hear way too often:

“Just think positive!”

I’ve heard it said in one way or another so many times. But what does thinking positive or having a positive attitude actually do for us?

It’s kind of like; when everyone says eat more greens, we know we should be eating more greens. You may even know how those nutrients keep you healthy, affect your weight, blood pressure and digestion and yet still don’t do it. It’s not until you really start to feel the difference for yourself and realize how much better it is that you REALLY start to order more salads and less deep fried stuff. Which also means, of course, that you have to start doing it, practicing it and being aware of the difference it makes before it becomes a real habit. Positive thinking works the same way. Celebrating World Gratitude Day with a Positive Gratitude Ritual

Being in a state of gratitude can completely transform one’s disposition. The more we pause to consider the things we have to be grateful for, the more we begin to focus on those things. And the things we focus on, we tend to draw toward ourselves.
