My New Beginnings

New Beginnings“Keep on beginning and failing. Each time you fail, start all over gain, and you will grow stronger until you have accomplished a purpose – not the one you began with perhaps, but one you’ll be glad to remember.”
–Anne Sullivan

There is a certain charm to starting something new and fresh. The feel is great and the suspense of how its all going to turn out keeps you hooked. Thats exactly how i feel right now about my life and about my blog.

A few weeks back I was discussing how important it was to grab opportunities that come your way.Β  In so doing an opportunity of sorts knocked my door, and I held on to it, which has made me successfully relocate to Hyderabad from Pune. There were a few bumps in the relocation process, but not as many as i had expected. Even the bumps that came on, had a short oh very short life span. I honestly expected the move to be highly strenuous and tiring, but it was only mildly any of that. My darling hubby made it as smooth as he could, and surprisingly my little one didn’t trouble as much. I thought it would be very long and very tiring, but it wasn’t.Β  Infact it was exciting in most parts.

Its now a week since we have moved into our new home and It feels great. Its a new home, but in a sense it feels like I have lived here forever. It took me just 2 days to get the house up and running i.e. kitchen, beds, bathrooms. The finer details took another 2 days. Only 2 more boxes and the unpacking will be totally complete. Yippee!!

I missed blogging so much in the past couple of weeks. I had no time to think cause of all the work with the relocating, but I still missed it. Felt like a very big part of me was dormant somehow. I never really thought about how important to my own well being blogging had become. The love that all my blogging friends have shown to my blog while I was away reflects in the comments of the last post where i announced my relocation. I cant thank all of them enough for all their love and support.

Since this is my new home, and my very own self prescribed new beginning of sorts, I have decided to give a brand new beginning to my Blog too. So here goes:

My 8 Point Plan for the Blog and for Me:

  1. Posting schedule thrice a week. Three dedicated Topics or columns: Tuesday- Mind Matters{MIND}, Fridays- Natural Cures{BODY}, Sunday- Inspirational Quote{SOUL}; Two of these columns are already active.
  2. “Natural Cures” – Introduction of a New Weekly Column where natural cures for diseases will be given in addition to natural benefits of food and their medicinal properties.- {My naturopath mind needs to come out and share :)}
  3. Write an e-book {which has already written itself in my head since the past 2 years}
  4. Write each and every post with all my heart and soul, so that all the readers can truly truly benefit from them.
  5. Make minor tweaks in the blog design. Will need your input for this one. The design as of now is what it is cause Bunny and her hubby Thumper from Bunny Got Blog took the time to make some valuable suggestions. Thanks Bunny. Still lots of work to do on the design.
  6. Learn to be a better blogger. When I started this blog I was clueless about the intricacies of blogging, but thanks to blogging buddies like Barbara from Blogging Without A Blog and Rebecca from Writers Round About, I have been learning so much about blogging and writing.
  7. Online Counseling{free} – Promote online counseling for optimum benefits to all those who really require my professional help. Will need your help and support in spreading the word.
  8. On a more personal note – Lose some weight πŸ˜‰

Phew!! Lots of work to do. But am going to enjoy every bit of it, cause this is what I love to do. Your support is imperative.

Thank you all for your continuous love and support. Means a lot to me.

    Oh, I am so looking forward to your new posts and your reassuring presence.

    Welcome back!!

  10. Hi Zeenat,

    Welcome back. So how do you like Hyderabad? When we lived in India, we lived in the state of Andra Pradesh so we were not that far from Hyderabad. May your new home always be filled love and light.

    And your new plan sounds awesome. Nothing is better than writing from the heart. By the way, I do a lot of spiritual counseling on the side so if I can provide any help or whatever, just let me know.
