  5. While not very long ago I would have agreed with this quote I now believe we are here to make a very important decision. Will we surrender our insistence on selfishness and ego to be part of what most would call heaven for eternity or not? Time is short.

    Imagine that you wanted to build a perfect community of mutual love and support. You know from experience that one selfish person is enough to destroy the peace of that community so you make the decision that only those who are totally giving will be invited in. Would our Creator do any less?

      we are all here to learn. Everyday is a learning experience. We all have aright to question and discover, and we all have our rights to our own opinions. Whatever makes us comfortable with our existence is usually the right path…

    A beautiful quote and I totally agree with every part of it. Teilhard de Chardin said “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

    This quote from Deepak Chopra reminds me of that. We truly are spiritual beings and how I wish more and more people would wake up to that truth. Thank you so much for sharing this quote with all of us. 🙂

  12. This is a great post to remind us what we should focus on other people when we are around them.

    Too many people focus on the superficial side of things these days, but I can’t blame them, with the mass media and magazine industry’s influence, who can actually easily escape their traps?

    This quote makes us believe that there is something much deeper than our human surface, and that we are all essentially the same.

    Very inspirational and true 🙂
