Weekly Positive Challenge: Focus on One

I’m starting a NEW Weekly Positive Challenge Series today, whose sole focus is to Challenge YOU to be more positive in your lives. Every Wednesday I’ll post a challenge and its upto you to take the challenge and apply the same to your life. You can share your thoughts, queries, results in the comments below. Lets all stay Happily Positive! πŸ™‚

This Week’s Positive Challenge:

“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Think about ONE Beautifully Positive quality about yourself. The challenge is to focus, enhance and nurture this quality all through the week.

Eg: This week, I’m choosing to focus on my “giving” quality. I have been known to be a very giving person. Someone who gives without thinking twice. Be it giving love, warmth, happiness, comfort…or the physical giving of food to the poor, giving time, giving attention…etc. to all where its required.
This week when I focus on this ONE quality, I’ll not only enhance and ingrain this quality in ME more, but I will also help instill this quality in others, by being an active example of “a giving person”. Soon, what I used to do once in a while will become part of my core nature. Thereby, becoming a more positive person on the whole.

Your challenge is the same. You need to Focus on this ONE Positive quality you have and then go all out and LIVE and Breathe this quality in your life for this week.

Before you take up this Challenge today tell yourself :

Share your thoughts, your experiences, your positive qualities in the comments below. If you need my help in any way, ask away, I’m here to positively provoke you πŸ™‚
And, if this challenge is enticing enough, share it with your close friends, relatives, partners….why not have a partner in your challenge.

  1. I like this. I need some positive discipline for myself here. I am going to be creative. I am good at be creative and creating flower bouquets for neighbors, think in creative ways and share my creativity with others and appreciate this in myself!

    1. Hi Raymora,
How awesome to be creative! I cant wait to see what you create in this week….i wish you would share some pics with me πŸ™‚
Appreciate and love all your positive qualities…..You deserve it!
      I’m so glad you’re up for the challenge…. πŸ™‚
      Much love~

  2. The only positive thing I can wrap myself around at the moment is cleaning and organizing this place I find myself living at the moment. It’s the only thing I have control over in this present time.

    1. Hi Jacki,
Oh cleaning is my favorite activity, when I’m stressed. I seem to go on autopilot cleaning mode when I’m venting πŸ™‚
But for you, this can turn out to be not only a loving quality to nurture, but also a very therapeutic one. Just don’t go overboard by stressing your body out too much
So happy you are taking up this challenge.
      Much love~

  3. Ooh, this is a great concept. I think I’ll take part – this week, I am going to focus on enhancing my ability to Allow… to let go, surrender to what is, and accept things as they are. When you get too involved on controlling life, it can be counterproductive. For me this week, it would be very beneficial to allow more deeply. Thanks for this concept, and I wish everyone else the best of luck with their focus!

    1. Hi Andrew,
Allow! Wow! Now thats one good quality that demands nurturing πŸ™‚ Youre right, when we get too controlling sometimes it backfires. hence allowing or going with the divine plan usually works wonders…
May you allow immense happiness within.
So so glad youre taking part in this challenge. Let me know how it turns out.
      Much love~

  4. Oh, sign me up! This is great! This week I’m going to focus on listening. I sometimes speak too quickly and too much. I will practice what I call sacred listening, which requires my lips to be closed! Thank you for this new program. I’m looking forward to it!

    1. Hi Galen,
Listening is such a profound quality. I’ve been known to speak too quickly too…more so cause i get too enthusiastic πŸ˜‰
But let me know how your sacred listening goes…I’d love to know the progress…
      So Much Love~

    1. Hi Jocelyn,
Healing qualities…hmmm….my kind of gal πŸ™‚
More power to you darling. Tell me how it turns out…
      So Much Love~

    1. Oh Suzie,
Yes you do have unlimited potential…infact you have more potential than anyone I have ever met. You inspire dear one.
      So Much Love to you~

  5. Rand

    Hello Lovely Z,

I can take care of two challenges in one here plus add another aspect of myself to focus on this week…or at least I’ll give it a good go.

While I have not formally signed up yet for Lisa’s two week water drinking challenge, I have started drinking the 64 oz. per day goal.

A good quality that I have always had is that of being very physically fit. I have been an ultra-distance runner, triathelete, hiker, skier, kyaker, sailor, stagehand, etc. But now in my middle age I find that I need to maintain the basics of my body even more so. I just got done working 8 straight days (some very physical) and can feel the effects on the body for the past two days. So the two week water challenge will be my way of focusing on my body in hopes of rejuvenaion and cleansing.

For those who are interested here’s a link to her site:

The other quality about myself is that of noticing small insignificant simple things or activities and being enamored with, and receiving a sense of peace with the experiences. Any sense of alienation, despair, loneliness, and fear vanish.

With this appreciation there is no ‘Less Than’
With this appreciation there is *Love*

So…I am going to cleanse myself well… and… I am going to be well with all that is already right here before me.

    1. Rand, My God thats beautiful! I await what you create this week….such amazing qualities. You are like the epitome of good qualities hmm…
      So Much Love~

  6. Zeenat, what a brilliant idea. For myself, many people say that I am courageous, and they admire me for that quality. I understand why they attribute that to me, because of my actions in some “big” situations, but I began thinking about the little day to day situations in which I am not so courageous – so my version of this challenge will be to try to “fill in” the smaller spaces in my life where I lack courage. It will take me far more than a week to turn this one around, but… thank you for this very positively thought-provoking challenge!

    1. Hi Cynthia,
You know sometimes it takes just a moment to make a good habit. This moment when you intent, turn out to be the pivotal one. May all your life be full of loving courage.
Do fill me in as to how this challenge goes for you.
      So Much Love~

      May Allah bless you too.
I would love to visit Philippines one day πŸ™‚
      Love and duas~

  8. Hi Zeenat,

I am currently reading the Book “The Mind Body Code” and it puts forward a similar approach.
So often we want to change everything at once, so often we overextend ourselves and end up with nothing materializing.

I think this is great advice and I’ll try it on this week. Thank you,
