Master Your Thinking

“As you think, you travel, and as you love, you attract. You are today where, your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.” ~ James Lane Allen

We know that our thoughts create our reality, but it blows my mind to think that everything I did or thought for all those years has brought me to this very moment in my life where I am writing this article for you. The gravity of it all hit me when I read the above quote by James Allen.

I realized that I cannot escape the result of my thoughts, but I can endure and learn, can accept and be glad. I can tell you this, that I did realize the vision of my heart. My life turned out exactly as I wanted it to be way back in the teenage days when I wanted to help souls heal from pain(I didnt know how then), I wanted to be a mother and I wanted to dedicate my life to living a more spiritual life.

Ofcourse I hadn’t fine tuned my future reality in my mind at that point, but I knew what I wanted my life to look like. You know like broad paint strokes. The details filled in automatically as I slowly set on this path.

By no means was the journey easy, or well laid out for me. It was full of ups and downs and so many times I fell off the path so to speak. I made huge mistakes, horrible decisions but never ever gave up.

At the time of turmoil during my life, I knew surrendering to the spiritual path and mastering my thoughts would bring me solace and it did.

Into your hands will be placed the exact result of your thoughts; you will recieve that which you earn; no more no less. Whatever your present environment may be, you will fall, remain or rise with your thoughts, your vision, your ideal. You will become as small as your controlling desire; as great as your dominant aspiration.” ~ James Lane Allen

THINK:

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you dont,

If you like to win, but you think you cant,

It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think youll lose, you’re lost,

For out of the world we find,

Success begins with a fellows will

Its all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,

You’ve got to think high to rise,

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles dont always go

to the stronger of faster man,

But sooner or later the man who wins

Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!

  1. Loved this post Zeenat. It resonates so deeply with where I am at this point in my life. I totally agree that when our thoughts align with our vision, when we master the art of going with the flow, then miracles happen. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙏

  2. Beautifully said Zeenat, Our thoughts do indeed create… What we focus our intentions upon especially when we give it emotion we project out into the Universe and the Universe delivers.. Not always in the way we would wish…
And i have also come to realise while we may look back upon our bad choices as wrong turns in our roads.. In hindsight they also led to new discoveries about ourselves which in turn strengthened us.

We forget that each item of clothing we are wearing, the paint upon our walls, the chair we are sitting upon ALL was first but an idea, a thought that was put into action to be then created into our reality for our experience..
When we understand the power of thoughts, we would guard them and project them with much more wisdom than we do at present as we flippantly verbalise our thoughts without thinking first their impact..
Many thanks for your lovely post… We do indeed need to Master our Thinking, and when we do, We would master our experiences much better 😉
    Much love 💚

    1. I love how you described “We forget that each item of clothing we are wearing, the paint upon our walls, the chair we are sitting upon ALL was first but an idea, a thought that was put into action to be then created into our reality for our experience..”
I believe this and tell my clients almost diligently, to gaurd your thoughts and be mindful of what your thoughts are creating.
Thank you for sharing your lovely thoughts here. I appreciate you!

So true Zeenat. I can remember back in the days when I had a car that played tapes – I know this was eons ago. But that car became my moving university and I had James Allen book, As a Man Thinketh on tape and I played it so often in my car that I wore that tape out. I wanted to be as immersed in his ideas of thinking until they became second nature to me!

  4. Zeenat, I believe our thoughts create our experience of our reality and thus are very powerful indeed. It makes sense to pay attention to how we think. Beautiful inspiration.

  5. Your thoughts create your experience of this life. The more we realize this, the more we can influence and guide our lives to peace and happiness. I love this quote. It’s so true.

“Into your hands will be placed the exact result of your thoughts; you will recieve that which you earn; no more no less. Whatever your present environment may be, you will fall, remain or rise with your thoughts, your vision, your ideal. You will become as small as your controlling desire; as great as your dominant aspiration.” ~ James Lane Allen
