Is the world ending as we know it? Is all the talk of end of world days true? What is this ‘shift’ all the spiritual personalities around the world are talking about?
Today is 21/12/12! Woohoo!
I’m excited about this date. I really want to live to see this day through and be able to tell my little grand kids, “I beat an Apocalypse!”
It has been predicted that this might be the day the world comes to an end. The other prediction is that it will completely transform.
Want to know what I think?
I think this is going to be a day like any other day. Yup! No big changes or earth shifts. What is going to change and has been changing is our thoughts.
This positive conscious loving shift in our thoughts has been a long time coming. With all that is going on around the world(just read one of the newspapers)..we all NEED this shift. Our purpose on earth is to LOVE.
I’d like to believe everyday we wake up is a NEW Beginning, Just like today!
This might be just another day where we might expect BIG things to happen…but in reality everyday is BIG and full of Awesome moments. We just need to shift our consciousness to the positive, to love.
Let today mark a NEW Beginning in your life, despite all the not so happy stuff going on around you. Decide to BE Love. Decide to make this world a better place.
This collective decision in every heart in the world can bring a tsunami of heaven on earth.
Make this day and everyday ahead about your constant spiritual advancement towards a fully conscious and loving world.
I wish each and every one of you days full of love and nights full of joy, today and everyday.
It is truly a wonderful NEW Beginning!
Move over ‘end of the world’ pessimists, a new positively loving world is emerging.

Congratulations Zeenat on beginning your fight against the Apocalypse! It’s still the 20th here in the United States as I type this, so I haven’t begun yet. Haha.
I love the thought of each day as a new beginning. I look at it the same way. In fact, each moment is the opportunity for a new beginning. Whenever I want to make some kind of shift, I can start right then and there. It’s a truly exciting way to view life.

You’re still here so all must be well though it’s still 12/20 in my neck of the woods. I agree with you fully. Every moment is an opportunity for a new beginning! It’s all about transforming our own mind. According to the Buddhist (and some other traditions) we are in the “kali yuga”, the age of degeneration and it won’t end for quite a long time so I don’ t put much credence in 12/21 but we’ll find out tomorrow. Even thought it’s a challenging time, it doesn’t mean we can’t individually wake up and transform our own mind.
That Prince quote alone is enough to make me fall in love with you, again. He’s among my top favorite artists.
Today is a beautiful day and I am glad to be alive – is the thought with which I start each day. So – none of that end of the world nonsense for me.
Yes, life will go on as usual. And if we wish, we can make it our best life ever.

Thanks for addressing this topic so simply. Today is just another day on one level, and each day is an opportunity to be & do new, especially with more love. As I wrote about recently, in 12 Ways to Celebrate Life, life is determined by our choices. I’m with you in choosing more love.

…for those who are convinced ‘once again’ that “The End” is finally going to bite you in your arse:
…and for those who want to go and see a couple good movies in the year 2013 ( I love the sound and look of ’13’)
I recommend: ‘Life of Pi’ in the 3D version. This movie is a good lesson on deciding about which of ‘two stories’ one may desire to choose.

‘Samsara’ This movie was made by the same Director and Producer of ‘Baraka’. In many ways it shows the world we live in while begging the
question of where will we all end up?

I totally agree with your thoughts. I believe it is best to ignore such people who entertain pessimistic and limiting views of the world and do what you say, which is to let everyday be a new beginning and an opportunity to spread love to others.
