Inhaling Calm, Exhaling Love – Happily Celebrating Four Blog Years

Inhaling Calm, Exhaling Love – Happily Celebrating Four Blog Years“The pursuit, even of the best things, ought to be calm and tranquil.” ~ Marcus Tullius Cicero

As I stood in my little kitchen preparing dinner for my family, it suddenly dawned on me “Four Years! Its been four years. I have been blogging for so long. wow!” Then the mind completely on autopilot goes to where it all began.

My little girl had just turned two and was a joyous handful(still is!). I was slowly getting back to work finding the balancing act of work and home very overwhelming…when a dear friend suggested starting a blog. “But why?” I asked her. And she immediately responded “The world needs what only YOU have.” This friend was a blogger/writer/corporate diva. I had counseled her out of a sticky emotional situation and thought she is just flattering me. Four years back blogging was next to invisible in India and was just kind of picking up in some other countries. I took it on as a silly experiment. I thoughts to myself, “Alright so I will start a blog. Whats the worst that can happen? Noone will read it…but then hey I already expect that.”

Ha! The jokes on me now 🙂 Cause not only did I get a good response to the actual writing(which I never thought I had IN me) I was growing spiritually and learning so much in the process of it all.

Inhaling Calm, Exhaling Love

The one thing I heard all my life from all those near and dear to me…”You are SO patient.” While I might have developed patience in the experiences of life, by no means was I of calm mind.

Starting this blog, writing every line in every blog post here, every interaction, each and every soul connection, every tweet, retweet, comment, like, share, email and above all the love that overflowed my heart over these past four years have instilled in me a Calm. A calm that comes when right in between that oh so deep meditative state.

So you see, in all its reality, I am Inhaling Calm and Exhaling love because this blog made it possible. Your presence made it possible. I am constantly amazed and mesmerized by the love I feel in this blogging art form.

Every year this month I release an Ebook which I offer free to every Email Subscriber. This year will be a bit different. This year I am writing a book for my little Positive Provocations heaven and the world too! Yes, “Blissfully Positive” is where my energies are being spent these days. There are still three ebooks which will forever remain free to every subscriber here, but now as I exhale love some more, I feel like I need to spread my wings. God willing, the book will be ready for release my July/August this year. You will ofcourse get the first preference.

My Simple Mission

My mission with this blog and with my life in general is to “To ease human suffering through Positivity, Love and Happiness“. I want to be remembered as a person who shed light & made a positive impact on the lives of others. This might well be my legacy.

ONLINE COUNSELING: Over the past few months I have also relaunched my Online Counseling service. I offer online counseling by email, chat and skype. If I could help you heal and become more positive…it would be my honor and privilege. This is my passion, my purpose and my calling afterall 🙂

As I head into another year of blogging/helping/healing … and exhaling love, I feel nostalgic. I love how I was so excited when I started this little experiment and now I am happy and excited that this experiment is my purpose, my calling. I always saw myself having a private healing practice. But I had no idea this blog would make it a world WIDE Private healing practice.  We create our very own limits. My choice was to flow with life and not limit myself and that created limitless possibilities for me.

Love & Gratitude

I thank my Diva Blogger friend for nudging me into this gorgeous art form. I know she isn’t blogging anymore cause she is knee deep in diapers and baby cuteness, but you know who you are and I am forever grateful.

I would like to take this opportunity to also thank YOU the reader for making me feel oh so special these four years. I will continue to be ever grateful to every soul that lands on this Positive Little Heaven.

This post also marks 300+ articles/posts on Positive Provocations! Yippee!

If you were in front of me, you would see me *bowing* in eternal gratitude to you. But since you cant see it…I hope  you can feel my eternal gratitude and love for you with this *BOW*… many more positive healing words and countless healed hearts.

Its amazing how we make so many wonderful connections along this blogging journey 🙂 And the best part its like minds, like hearts and like souls who are connecting here….now that is truly divine connection 🙂
I appreciate each and every one of you. I would’ve responded to every comment here…but I would just keep repeating myself by saying thank you…cause believe me…I am so so grateful for all of you.
May we all keep connecting on a heart level….a healing level.
So much Love to you all.

  13. Hey Zeenat

What a wonderful saying you have here…

“We create our very own limits.” I was living with the impression that limits attract us, and the little poor-mindset guy cannot create things such as limits or extra powers or whatever… the more I re-read your affirmation, the more I now believe that actually individuals like you and me are creating their own reality, where self-imposed limits play a key role.

So are you saying that flowing with life is part of creating a limitless and daring life? Could you give us some examples like what “flow with life” means to you personally?

Anyway, congrats for the 300 posts you’ve shared with your community so far, and making other people’s life better, you deserve it!

I wish you to reach (and exceed) 1,000 posts and empower even more men and women take their life next level and live a happy, fulfilling life.

I look forward to reading your next post – “All about Positive Social networking!” – cannot wait to hear what you have to say about it, and what your readers think on the topic.
