6 Habits of Highly Positive People

6 Habits of Highly Positive People

Positive anything is better than negative nothing.” ~ Elbert Hubbard

Because I talk and write so much about positive thinking and its importance in our life, I get asked a lot(LOTS!) of questions on the same too. One of the most common questions I get asked is, “How do you stay positive all the time?”

Newsflash! I don’t stay positive all the time……

I have my good days and bad days too. I get hurt at times and I get ecstatic at times too. I ain’t super human just because I am a positive thinker. I’m only human. It will still hurt when I get cut and bleed no matter how positive I may be.

The common misconception we have is that we need to stay positive all the time. No way! Its just unrealistic.

So what, we stop trying? Nah….we keep focusing on the positive daily and accustom our subconscious to think positively. Daily positive habits fine tune and mold the mind to think that way naturally after 40 days of a daily habitual ritual.

That will not mean you will laugh when someone insults you…it simply means you will know how to handle it more positively if something like that happens.

We can’t control what the world is going to throw at us…but we can control our own self. We can decide how much and for how long and to what degree something should *get* to us. There is mental and emotional strength in a predominant positive thinker.

And how do we do that? We develop Positive Habits, so that positive thinking can fine tune our minds to think better, feel better, assimilate the world better and most of all stay in that higher vibration of happiness at least most of the time.

Here are 6 Habits of Highly Positive People …

…as observed and practiced by me. Its a short video. Enjoy it with the volume UP and share it & this post with all those who you think need a positive nudge in their lives.

  1. Exactly , we do have bad days too , but as positive people we don’t dwell on it and see it as learning and see a positive outcome. Positive people are allowed to be sad too. Lovely post, Zeenat!

  2. Loved this happy video Zeenat…we positive people have challenges in life like everyone else, and as always when we turn our attention to the good in our life, it definitely helps put challenges into perspective. 🙂

  3. I love your newsflash, Zeenat. GASP! You’re not always positive? I’ll tell you a secret. Me neither. The important thing is that we know how to get back there – like your wonderful video.

  4. I absolutely love your bright spirit Zeenat, and you are so right, we don’t have to be positive all the time. I am a big believer in feeling and honoring whatever you’re feeling and you can still be connected to your inner joy, no matter what happens.

  5. Thank you so much for confirming that it is not possible to be positive all the time…we are human after all! The video was lovely and one of the things that came to mind for me, was to stay open to the things that are coming towards you and to say yes, more than you say no. Thanks for the inspiration today, Zeenat!

  6. It’s so true that positive people have bad days too! My thing is to release the feeling that I have to be “UP” all the time. To respect my natural ebb and flow and to use it to reset as needed. Well done!

  7. I’d like to add that positive people move – they’re physically active playing a sport they love or practicing yoga or tai chi or martial arts or they walk a lot. When I’m having a bad day or working through a challenge, a 4-5 mile walk usually clears things up and I’m back to my normal happy self!

  8. I agree with you Zeenat, it is impossible to be happy all the time. How could be know we are happy if we’re never sad? It is part of the game of life to experience all emotional states. We wouldn’t want it any other way.

  9. Great video Zeenat! I do try to stay away more from the nonsense these days. haha that’s situations, people and circumstances that drain my energy. I do make more conscious choices about what I do with my time and life. Thanks for sharing this post and provoking so much positivity – you know that sounds like a great name for a blog 🙂

  10. I love that you give even positive people the permission to be sad or to have a bad day! I have never heard it expressed that way before but it’s just so freeing! Thank you ❤
