“Love is nourishment in itself. The more you love, the more you will find untrodden spaces where love goes on and on spreading around you like an aura.” ~ OSHO
The one question I get asked a lot is the “self Love” question…. “But really isnt self love selfish? Isnt it downright narcissistic?”…are some of the questions I get asked from the anti-self love people. But I am not deterred 🙂 I respond in love, and always manage to turn them into practicing advocates of self love too!
Recently, during a heated debate with one such beautiful soul, who is a very spiritual person too, I managed to scratch the surface. She was getting what self love was all about but wasn’t completely convinced. That was when I showed her this video by Osho. After which she happily said, “Oh Zeenat, I have decided, I got to be Selfish too! I have to Love me more! Tell me how.” 🙂
I have always Loved OSHO’s wisdom and his beautiful ways of explaining the deepest truths.
Watch this 10 minute video to truly understand on a really deep level what SELF LOVE is all about and how its imperative to your happiness.
Its 10 minutes of pure wisdom you don’t want to miss!
I hope you enjoyed the beautiful explanation he gave.
May we all BE love with ourselves and the world.
Happy Spring to all you beautiful souls. May this new season of renewal, renew your passion for self love and self healing.

Love that image Zeenat and the words- so true the more we unconditionally love ourself the more ripples of love we spread to the world. love Suzie xxoo
I agree that self love is not selfish. In fact, I believe that self love is the only way to save the world from anger and hurt. Great post Zeenat!
Thank you for sharing this wisdom, Zeenat. Self-love truly is the foundation, but it is so hard for so many because we equal it with being ‘selfish’. But how can you appreciate or love another, if you can’t love yourself? Loving yourself doesn’t exclude or prevent you from loving others – on the contrary. I have begun to like the term Being Love. That pretty much solves it 🙂
Self-love is the beginning of other-love. How can there be too much love? I love your wisdom, Zeenat!
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this video and couldn’t agree more – thank you so much Zeenat! xox, Reba
Absolutely right, Zeenat, because absent self-love, everything is a bit crusty and maybe a lot harder. When self-love is in da house, sister, it just radiates into every single thought, word, and action. So, of course, and thank you!
I have been teaching self-love for years and was really glad to hear Osho’s words about it.
Hello Zeenat,
I know how some people react when they hear the concept of self love from someone who actually teaches it.
Nice video. I will remember the message.
That’s always a big question, isn’t it, Zeenat. I don’t think self-love is selfish unless that’s all you think about. Ideally, we’ll love ourselves and also come to a point where there’s no longer such a strong distinction between self and other.
